Mario Szpuszta (mszCool) of Microsoft has published a blog post detailing how to set up an Ubuntu 12.04 LTS VM on Microsoft Azure via a VMDepot image and then use that to create your own Ubuntu-based version of the Moonshot Live DVD, which lets you see and test all of the components of Moonshot.
